Chapter II.
take me home.
NNN. After opening the dialogue around death with their Chapter I, the new creation ‘Name, Name, Name’ (working title) digs into the mysteries of birth and the haze of motherhood.
Through archaic movements and motherly figures, this dance in water suspends the obvious and questions the silences.
A birth ritual carried by three dancers, where the score takes the shape of an heartbeat
and the core enquires our origination.

‘This dance embraces mourning within motherhood. The mourning of the mother who is no more, who will not be, the mourning of the child who never was, of the ideal mother, of the gone child, of the forgotten mother. A delicate subject approached with transparency and fragility.’

This second Chapter is currently in creation and will Première in Summer 2022.
An open try out will take place on the 6.7.8/08/21. More info will follow soon.

This performance is freely inspired by the beautiful art piece ‘Poëzie’ of Philippe Van Snick, presented in the park of Middelheim museum, Antwerp (be).

NNN will be accompanied by a Michel Vaerewijck’s art installation. Whilst the ‘afterlife’ was triggered during our last collaboration, this time M.V will explore the ‘beforebirth’ with the singular marriage of engineering, cosmos and poetry.
