SIMS. ‘She is my sister’ invites the audience in the middle of the woods to join an endless quest for love and loss. The one of a brother for his late sister.

To guide his tragic wander, mysterious entities appear slowly from a world between life and death and transport us through reassuring movements and nostalgic music.
This 360° performance rises the mystery of the invisible, amplifies our senses and confronts us to the depths of what surrounds us.
A meeting between dance, music and nature, where time is suspended and where the world of Moonstein plays with the edge of our perception.

‘Whilst playing hide and seek in the forest, a sister dies of waiting and never being found. Her brother is wandering, forlorn of not finding, not knowing and the refuse of her death holds her back in a blur, in between life and death.
This journey is lulled by ghostly presences and ungraspable wonders, trying to guide them to acceptance of an inevitable end.’

The prologue was exclusively created in 2016 for the festival ‘Zomer van Antwerpen’ and was performed 35 times in the wood of St Anna, Antwerp (Be).
